Been casually playing for a lot of years, but I've never done more than change strings or mess with bridge level on my #floydrose - gonna try a setup on a #fender #squire #mini #stratocaster one thing for damn sure, I can't make it worse. #zenofbeer #guitarsofinstagram

Got a new jacket To get right to the point, I took a big step when I got myself a textile motorcycle jacket. I love my leather, it's treated me well. It's comfortable, it's warm, it has reasonable venting for the hot season (I've worn it in 110°+ weather and lived to tell the tale, and the Thinsulate liner and neck warmer carry me through 32° weather with no problem at all (I don't ride colder, I'm afraid of ice and I'm not ashamed to admit it). Then, one day last month (stop me if you've heard the story before) I was out shopping for helmets and my wife convinced me to try on an extremely brightly colored yellow jacket. It was light, it was comfy, she liked it, and I decided to go for it. I figured I'd like it well enough, but I didn't expect liking it quite so much. I'm completely hooked on this thing, and I'm missing my black leather a little less by the day.

Really, I don't want my money back

If we're going to be perfectly honest here, I don't really want my money back. I've purchased the product before and the Amazon seller had a killer price. I bought the product. I wasn't thrilled that it was scheduled for delivery more than a month later, but the price, the product, what ever. I'm ok with that. The problem is that the seller chose to ship using a service with no tracking. This means that here I am a week after the delivery was supposed to take place and I have no way of knowing where my product is. Worse, I emailed the seller. Nothing. Not a damn thing. I got my money back, but the product could still show up any day now. Or maybe it won't. Who the hell knows? Now I'm stuck with an Amazon credit that isn't enough to buy the product that I'd rather have in the first place. Amazon sellers, please use a shipping service that I can track. I would keep my mouth shut and not complain if I just had some idea if/when my product may or may not

#Acuvue #Oasys Multi-Focal Contact Lenses

Things that happen when you get older So, it's happened. The Eye Dr. found out that I can't see things up close when wearing my glasses or contact lenses. I'm ok to see up close without them, but I often need reading glasses with my contacts to see little print...The frames on my glasses are fairly small, so I just look around the lenses when I need to read up close.  Anyway, her response was to have me try out some multi-focal contact lenses. Yes, bi-focal, but contact lenses. I have a hard time wrapping my head around the way they actually work because the things sit right on your eyeball, so although I have experienced looking through different areas of the lenses I still don't quite understand how I'm able to do it.  I tried a couple of pairs, the first one had the issue that I couldn't figure out how to not look through the close vision area in my right eye.
